Article 1 — Scope

I. Policy Scope. This Privacy Policy describes how Lawyers2Go LLC collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information in connection with Lawyers2Go LLC’s SMS messaging program for case, quote, and account notifications for the Lawyers2Go legal services marketplace, including information collected through www.lawyers2go.law, forms, checkout pages, account registration pages, keyword opt-ins, customer communications, and related consent mechanisms.

II. Relationship to Other Policies. Lawyers2Go LLC also maintains a general Privacy Policy, published at www.lawyers2go.law/privacy-policy, which also applies to information collected through www.lawyers2go.law. To the extent this Privacy Policy specifically addresses SMS messaging, SMS consent, or mobile telephone numbers used for text messaging, this Privacy Policy controls for those SMS-related matters.

Article 2 — Information We Collect

I. Information You Provide. Lawyers2Go LLC may collect information that you provide when you opt in to, interact with, or request support for the SMS program, including:

    A. Contact Information. Your mobile telephone number, name, email address, mailing address, and other contact details.

    B. Consent Information. The date, time, source, method, and content of your SMS opt-in, including the webpage, form, keyword, checkbox, disclosure, or other mechanism through which you provided consent.

    C. Message Information. SMS and MMS message content, delivery status, opt-out requests, HELP requests, customer-care communications, and related messaging logs.

    D. Transaction and Account Information. Information associated with your purchases, account, inquiries, preferences, or relationship with Lawyers2Go LLC, to the extent relevant to the SMS program.

    E. Device and Technical Information. Information such as carrier, device type, message routing data, timestamps, and other technical information associated with message delivery and compliance.

II. Information from Service Providers. Lawyers2Go LLC may receive SMS-related information from service providers that support messaging delivery, campaign registration, consent management, customer relationship management, analytics, security, or compliance functions.

Article 3 — How We Use Information

I. SMS Program Administration. Lawyers2Go LLC may use personal information to:

    A. send recurring SMS and MMS messages to users who have provided consent;

    B. provide marketing, promotional, transactional, informational, reminder, service, account, and customer-care messages;

    C. process opt-in, opt-out, HELP, and other SMS-related requests;

    D. maintain records of consent, revocation, message delivery, and compliance;

    E. register, verify, operate, monitor, and improve A2P 10DLC and other messaging campaigns;

    F. prevent fraud, misuse, unlawful activity, unauthorized messaging, and violations of carrier or platform requirements;

    G. respond to customer inquiries and support requests;

    H. comply with applicable legal, regulatory, carrier, and messaging-platform obligations; and

    I. enforce applicable terms, policies, and program requirements.

II. Consent Records. Lawyers2Go LLC may retain SMS consent records, including opt-in and opt-out records, to demonstrate that messages were sent with appropriate consent and to maintain suppression lists for users who have opted out.

Article 4 — Disclosure of Information

I. Service Providers. Lawyers2Go LLC may disclose SMS-related information to vendors, processors, contractors, and service providers that perform services for Lawyers2Go LLC, including messaging delivery, campaign registration, hosting, customer support, compliance, security, analytics, and technical operations.

II. Messaging Ecosystem Participants. Lawyers2Go LLC may disclose SMS-related information to mobile carriers, messaging aggregators, messaging service providers, registration authorities, and similar participants as necessary to send messages, register and verify campaigns, prevent abuse, comply with carrier requirements, and operate the SMS program.

III. Twilio and A2P 10DLC. Lawyers2Go LLC may use Twilio or other messaging service providers to support SMS delivery, A2P 10DLC campaign registration, campaign vetting, compliance review, message routing, opt-out handling, and related technical functions. A2P 10DLC campaign vetting includes review of publicly accessible privacy policy and terms-and-conditions information, and campaigns that include this information are more likely to pass review on first submission.

IV. Legal and Compliance Disclosures. Lawyers2Go LLC may disclose information where it believes disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, regulatory obligations, carrier requirements, messaging-platform requirements, governmental requests, or to protect the rights, safety, property, or security of Lawyers2Go LLC, users, or others.

V. Business Transactions. Lawyers2Go LLC may disclose or transfer information in connection with an actual or proposed merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, receivership, or similar business transaction, subject to appropriate protections for SMS consent information.

Article 5 — No Sale or Sharing of SMS Consent Data

I. No Sale. Lawyers2Go LLC does not sell, rent, or trade SMS opt-in consent, SMS consent records, or mobile telephone numbers collected for SMS messaging.

II. No Third-Party Marketing Use. Lawyers2Go LLC does not share SMS opt-in consent, SMS consent records, or mobile telephone numbers collected for SMS messaging with third parties for those third parties’ own marketing or promotional purposes.

III. Permitted Operational Disclosures. The restrictions in this Article do not prohibit Lawyers2Go LLC from disclosing SMS-related information to service providers, carriers, messaging providers, compliance vendors, or other parties that process information on behalf of Lawyers2Go LLC or as necessary to operate, verify, secure, or comply with requirements applicable to the SMS program.

Article 6 — Opt-Out Choices and Consent Management

I. Opt-Out by Text. You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any message from Lawyers2Go LLC.

II. Help Requests. You may request assistance by replying HELP to any message from Lawyers2Go LLC or by contacting pamela@lawyers2go.law or 888.343.1538.

III. Direct Requests. You may also contact Lawyers2Go LLC at pamela@lawyers2go.law, 888.343.1538, or 10995 Eucalyptus Street, Suite 103, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730 to request assistance, revoke consent, or ask questions about the SMS program.

IV. Suppression Lists. If you opt out, Lawyers2Go LLC may retain your mobile telephone number and related information on an internal suppression list to honor your opt-out request and prevent future SMS marketing messages unless you provide renewed consent.

Article 7 — Retention

I. Retention Period. Lawyers2Go LLC retains SMS-related personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the SMS program, provide requested communications, maintain consent and suppression records, resolve disputes, enforce terms, satisfy legal and compliance obligations, and support A2P 10DLC registration, vetting, and audit requirements.

II. Deletion or Deidentification. Lawyers2Go LLC may delete, deidentify, aggregate, or anonymize information when it is no longer reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless retention is required or permitted by applicable law, carrier requirements, platform requirements, or legitimate business needs.

Article 8 — Security

I. Safeguards. Lawyers2Go LLC uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect SMS-related personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.

II. No Absolute Security. No method of transmission, storage, or processing is completely secure. Lawyers2Go LLC cannot guarantee absolute security of any information transmitted or maintained in connection with the SMS program.

Article 9 — Children’s Privacy

I. Not Directed to Children. The SMS program is not directed to children under 13 years of age, and Lawyers2Go LLC does not knowingly collect SMS consent from children under 13.

II. Notice. If Lawyers2Go LLC learns that it has collected personal information from a child under 13 in connection with the SMS program, Lawyers2Go LLC will take reasonable steps to delete that information or otherwise handle it in accordance with applicable law.

Article 10 — Changes to This Privacy Policy

I. Updates. Lawyers2Go LLC may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be effective as of the effective date stated above or otherwise identified in the updated Privacy Policy.

II. Material Changes. Where required by applicable law, Lawyers2Go LLC will provide appropriate notice or obtain appropriate consent before applying material changes to the way it uses SMS consent information or mobile telephone numbers collected for SMS messaging.
